TaDaaa!! You may remember a while back I did a posting on gluten free friendly soy sauce, and I pointed out that the company San-J has a gluten free tamari style soy sauce.
Now, Kikkoman has a tamari style gluten free soy sauce as well!! I have not tried it yet, but I imagine that it is more widely available than the San-J or other specialty brands. Check out Kikkoman's website here.

Glad to see Kikkoman with this product in eventual national distribution, since the San-J is terrible (actively bad flavors). But traditional Japanese GF soy sauces are still the best: Yamasa is a fine one for flavor, Hansa is darker and more intense. Worth seeking out a good Japanese market for this key ingredient.
